StGeorgePaint.com is an independent guide to buying paint in Southern Utah. This page describes exactly what happens to the information you send us, which is a short list.

What we collect when you submit the form

• The details you type: your name, phone number, an optional email address, what kind of help you need, and any project description you add.
• Your IP address, used to rate-limit submissions and reduce automated spam.
• The page you submitted from, the referring page, and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through.

What we do with it

Submissions are sent to us directly so a person can read and answer them. If you have asked to be connected with a painting contractor, we may pass your details to one for that purpose — that only happens if you ask for it. If you are asking a product question, your details are not passed to anyone.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list.

How long it is kept

Form submissions are stored for 180 days and then deleted automatically. Rate-limiting records are kept for one hour. To have your submission removed sooner, email [email protected] from the address you used, or mention the phone number you submitted.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which guides people find useful. It sets cookies and collects standard web analytics data, including a truncated IP address. It is not used to identify you personally, and it is not linked to your form submission. Google's own privacy documentation covers what it collects, and browser-level controls or an ad blocker will stop it.

Third parties in the page

• Cloudflare hosts the site and sees request metadata as part of serving it.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces.
• OpenStreetMap and CARTO serve the map tiles.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
